Tourists flock to buy patterns and wool kits

We’ve just been to Jamieson and Smith’s (the wool brokers) getting more wool to make finished hats. While there they asked if we had more hard copy patterns because they were down to their last 4. Fortunately we had some so they’re topped up again.

It was heartening to hear of more support by local businesses, this time we need to thank the tour bus operators. They’ve been telling tourists all about the Harriet’s Hat pattern, where they can buy the wool kits from, and what the money raised will be used for.

It’s great to see so much support from all over the world. With the yarn being shipped to various countries, it’s a nice little boost for local suppliers too.
