In light of the Coronavirus pandemic, and the level of self isolation/social distancing required to combat the outbreak, we have decided to provide an online community resource.

Self isolating and social distancing, whether voluntary or mandatory, while necessary means that many are deprived of social interaction they once depended on. It also means that many knit clubs are unable to take place as usual, which for some was their only contact with the outside world. Not everyone is on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter etc. but most have access to the internet. In any event, social media platforms are understandable consumed by covid-19 and our intent is to separate discussion boards. We'll have knitting related boards, general discussion of anything BUT the Coronavirus, and one smaller topic for important Covid updates/suggestions which of course you can simply ignore if you wish. It'll be down at the bottom underneath everything else rather than "in your face".

We'll have a MRI Maakers Night topic, which our existing MRI Maakers are encouraged to join in on, EVERY Thursday from 6pm until 8pm. All members will be free to pop in and virtually visit the Maakers.

Please be patient while we set up and organise the relevant boards.

I'm currently debugging an issue with the email registration process for the forum. Some members may have received emails which didn't include a link to activate the account. If this affected you, requesting a password reset on the forum will not have worked either.

Until I resolve the issue, please go to the My Account page in the main menu. Requesting a password reset from this page (which is actually the shop member page) will allow you to set your own password. This can then be used on the forum login.

There's some setting issue which I've not noticed in trying to make this available for you ahead of knit night. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The forum will work for you thereafter and I'll post a notification once it's resolved.
