MRI Maakers

Since the MRI Maakers started meeting and along with the Harriet’s Hat pattern garnered support from around the world, we’ve received countless emails, messages and comment replies asking us to do something during Wool Week. We’re obviously keen not to step on anyone’s toes, but we were scheduled to have one of our regular MRI Maakers meetings on the 3rd of October.

With the Lerwick Town Hall as the venue, instead of our usual location, you will have the opportunity to mingle with the MRI Maakers, and of course Harriet Middleton. We’ve booked the main hall upstairs, and intend to provide a Shetland welcome to our guests in this one off special MRI Maakers night.

Tea and coffee will be provided and we’ll be having a half hour break mid way through to provide you with some light traditional Shetland nourishment.

We’ll be holding a raffle on the night, with details of donated prizes being published ahead of the event.

Further details will be posted on the website as they are confirmed, but as there is demand for places we’re making tickets available now so those who wish to attend can better plan their time in Shetland having travelled from far and wide.

Your ticket will be personalised manually, so will be delivered by email in pdf form potentially several hours after purchase.

Please note, since the ticket fee is paid directly to the Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal fund, it is not possible for us to issue refunds. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can let someone else take your place at this limited numbers event.
