Harriet will be taking part in the Worldwide Harriet’s Hat KAL with knitters from around the world, beginning Saturday 8th June. Have you got your Harriet’s Hat Pattern yet?

Since June 8th is also Worldwide Knit in Public Day, she will be casting on upstairs in the Mareel, Lerwick and would love if anyone local who is taking part would join her. She’ll be there from 11am, and obviously there’s refreshments available so you can all have a nice relaxed natter while you cast on a Harriet’s Hat.

She’ll be taking some hard copies of the pattern with her, so if you’ve not already bought one it’s a perfect chance to buy one from the designer herself. Harriet will also have bags of yarn, in the right shades for an official Harriet’s Hat for anyone who wants to donate it to the appeal to be sold. All proceeds to the Shetland MRI Scanner appeal.
