Wendy Inkster presenting Billy O’ Middle Toon to Harriet

The Burra Bear kindly made for us by Wendy Inkster to raffle said farewell to her today. Now officially named Billy O’ Middle Toon, the bear was collected by Harriet this morning.

His name tag, and address card look great and detail how this special bear came to be. Wendy has assured us that the documentation has successfully made it through customs several times now, so we’re confident no matter where the lucky winner comes from he will arrive safely.

The attention to detail is quite something, and it’s easy to see why offical Burra Bears have become so popular. We’re delighted to foster him for a while until a permanent adoptive parent has been found. He truly does look absolutely amazing, so we’re sure whoever wins him will treasure him for years to come.

Here’s Harriet with Billy O’ Middle Toon waving farewell to Wendy today. We always knew he’d be a particularly special bear, but seeing him first hand, he’s really beyond words.

The winner will be announced as the raffle is drawn during our one off special MRI Maakers Wool Week Event. With any luck, the winner will be there so we can present him in person. Tickets for the event are available at the link above, once they’re gone they’re gone.
